The Author
The author of Rolling Stock, Ned Reiter, has been writing computer software since 1963. As a self-employed consultant and programmer since 1974, he has developed programs for companies in such varied industries as heavy manufacturing, brewing, distribution, and long distance telephone service. He has also extensive experience working with the different network environments.
He is currently using state-of-the-art development tools to write software for Windows systems and the internet. Mr. Reiter and his wife live and travel in a motor home, spending time in different parts of the country during the year. He works with his clients using the telephone and the internet to coordinate his work, exchange information and deliver the products.
